Dashboard

The home screen: an overview of comments, messages, actions performed and trends over time.

What does the Dashboard show and how do I read it?

The Dashboard is the first screen you see after logging in. At a glance it tells you:

  • Comments handled — how many comments GeniReply intercepted in the selected period
  • Replies sent — how many automated replies have been published
  • Comments hidden/deleted — moderation actions performed
  • DMs (Direct Messages) sent — private invites dispatched

Each KPI is a snapshot of the period chosen in the "Range" selector. Click a card to dive deeper in Analytics.

How do I filter data by platform and date?

In the top right you'll find two filters:

  • Platform: All, Facebook, Instagram. Select a single network to exclude the others.
  • Range: Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days.

Filters persist across your session: if you switch pages and come back, the same view is kept.

💡 Tip: leave "All platforms + Last 30 days" as the default view for your weekly briefing.
What does the trend chart represent?

The main chart shows the daily trend of intercepted comments, split between Facebook (blue) and Instagram (pink). The lines help you spot:

  • Spikes: usually matching new ad campaigns or viral posts
  • Unusual drops: may indicate a problem with the Meta webhook connection — check the Connected Pages page

Hover over a point to see the exact daily values.

Why is my Dashboard empty? I just installed GeniReply.

If the Dashboard shows zeros everywhere, check in order:

  1. Have you created at least one rule? GeniReply starts with an empty Rules list: until you create and enable a rule, no comment will trigger any action.
  2. Have you connected at least one Facebook Page or one Instagram Business account under Connected Pages?
  3. Is the Page actually active (with posts published recently)?
  4. Are the Meta webhooks hooked up? Under Settings → System health you should see a green status.
  5. Are your rules enabled? A rule that exists but is turned off is not applied.
⚠️ The app is currently in Meta Dev mode: the webhook only responds to admin accounts. In production (after App Review) all followers will be covered.
