Simulator

Try writing a mock comment to see which rule fires, which reply goes out and how to 'teach' GeniReply.

What is the Simulator for?

The Simulator is your safe classroom: it lets you test a comment without actually publishing it. GeniReply:

  1. Analyzes the text with the AI Haiku classifier
  2. Shows you which of your rules matched (if you haven't created any rules yet, no rule will match)
  3. Indicates the confidence level (0–100%)
  4. Proposes the reply and/or the DM it would send

No comment is published or classified on the real platform. It's the right tool to verify that a new rule works before activating it in production.

Can I launch the simulation with the keyboard?

Yes. From version 1.5.4 the Enter key inside the input box automatically launches Simulate with AI, without needing to click the button.

  • Enter → starts the simulation
  • Shift + Enter → inserts a new line (useful for multi-line comments)

The shortcut is disabled if the field is empty or if a simulation is already running.

How do I 'teach' GeniReply when it misclassifies?

Below the simulation result you'll find the 🎓 Learning classroom box. If the matched rule is wrong:

  1. Open the Correct rule dropdown
  2. Select the rule that SHOULD have fired
  3. Click Save correction

GeniReply records the corrected example and uses it as a few-shot for future classification. Just 2–3 corrections are enough to stabilize an ambiguous rule.

💡 Corrections in the safe classroom do NOT affect your real history: they only serve to improve classification of future comments.
Are there ready-made examples to test?

Yes, to the right of the Simulator you'll find the Sample comments section with recurring phrases for your industry ("How much does it cost?", "Is this a scam?", "You never reply"…). Click one to copy it into the field and immediately see which rule intercepts that kind of message.

You can also browse the Simulation history of the current session: every recent test stays listed with its matched rule and confidence.
