What does the Activity Log show?

The Activity Log is a chronological log of every action you and your collaborators perform inside GeniReply. Each entry includes:

  • Action type — login, reply sent, comment moved, hidden, deleted, user banned, like added, rule corrected
  • Who did it — the name of the user who performed the action
  • When — exact date and time
  • On which comment — when applicable, a reference to the original comment with author and preview

The log is paginated: at the bottom of the list you'll find the Load more button to see older actions.

Which actions are recorded?

GeniReply automatically records these actions:

  • Login — every time a user logs in to the app
  • Reply sent — when a reply (automatic or manual) is published to a comment
  • Move — when a comment is moved between sections (Inbox → Archived, Inbox → Trash etc.)
  • Comment hidden — soft-hide of a comment on the Meta platform
  • Comment deleted — permanent deletion from the platform
  • User banned — blocking the comment author on the Page
  • Like added — a positive reaction left on a comment
  • Rule corrected — when a comment is manually reclassified from one rule to another
💡 The Activity Log is especially useful in teams: you can verify who did what and when, to coordinate moderation work without overlap.
The Activity Log is empty, is that normal?

If the Activity Log shows no entries, there are two possibilities:

  • You just started — the log begins from the moment it was activated. Actions performed before activation are not retroactively recorded
  • No recent actions — if you haven't performed logins, replies or moderation operations, the log will naturally be empty

Try performing an action (for example archive a comment from the Inbox) and then return to the Log: you'll see the new entry appear at the top of the list.
